At Artisan Quality Roofing, we are thankful for the opportunity to serve homeowners daily. How? By providing roofing and gutter services to keep their homes safe and secure. However, we recognize that not everyone can afford this, let alone necessities like food and shelter. As a local, family-owned business, we want to provide support to everyone in the area – including those without roofs over their heads. We know giving a roof doesn’t make much sense; a house is more than a roof. So we decided to do something else instead.
Artisan’s Annual Giving Campaign
For this reason, we recently started the annual tradition of donating a portion of our profits to a local charity in the Triangle Area. Each year, our team selects a charity to support based on the prevalent needs of our area. For one month, we run a promotion to donate a portion of our profits to that charity. We hope that the Artisan family can, in a small way, provide for the needs of families all over the Triangle.
Introducing This Year’s Charity
Working on homes each day reminds us of all the people facing homelessness in our community. So this year, we have decided to support Raleigh Rescue Mission. Raleigh Rescue is a local ministry that provides shelter, resources, and support programs for those facing homelessness in the Triangle Area.
In Wake County, homelessness is increasing each year. Over 6,000 individuals seek homeless services annually. 4,300 children in Wake County schools are facing homelessness, and over 99,000 people are in poverty and at risk of becoming homeless.
Raleigh Rescue Mission offers short-term resources. Some of these resources include free meals, overnight stays, and emergency support services. Additionally, they offer a New Life Plan program for those who want to make lasting changes and break the cycle of poverty and homelessness. We appreciate how Raleigh Rescue Mission addresses the physical, mental, and spiritual needs of the individual. On top of that, they provide consistent, long-term support to help individuals achieve their goals.
